Chicken | Murgh Malai Tikka (on Stove top)

Chicken Malai Tikka serves as a very popular appetizer and can be found on the menus of most of the restaurants. It is super easy to make at home too. Here we are presenting the simple and easy recipe for making juicy and tender Chicken/Murgh Malai Tikka. It can be cooked on a grill or in an oven. For this video we are showing how to make the restaurant style Malai Tikka on a stove top using a grill pan.

Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken breast – 1 ½ lb (cubed)
Bell Pepper – ½ cubed
Onion – 1 med (cubed)

For Marinade:
Fresh Cream –1/2 cup
Plain curd –1/2 cup
Cheese (grated or melted) – 2 cubes
Ginger garlic paste –1 tbsp
Green chilli paste –1 tbsp
Black pepper powder –1 tsp
Salt –1 tbsp or as per taste

Method:

1. Cut chicken, onion and bell pepper in cube shape.
2. In a separate dish, mix all ingredients together to make marinade.
3. Add chicken, onion and bell pepper.
4. Mix well with marinade and marinate for min 2-3 hrs. For best results marinate overnight.
5. Build the skewers by alternating chicken onion and bell pepper
6. Oiled the grilled pan and place the skewers
7. Cook until chicken is tender.
8. Serve with mint chutney or chutney of your choice
