The taste and juices that emanate from the fresh coconut, give a special richness to this delicacy.They are perfect for parties because you can make a big batch in a short span of time.Ingredients:Shredded coconut- 5 cupsGhee- 4 teaspoonsMilk- 3/4 cupSugar- 3.75 cupsCardamom powder- 1 teaspoonDirections:1. Roast 5 cups of shredded coconut with 2 tsp of ghee for 2-3 minutes.2. Add milk and sugar. Mix well on medium flame until sugar dissolves completely.3. Let it cook over medium flame. Add cardamom powder and 1 tsp ghee.4. Keep stirring till the mixture starts to thicken ( 20 Minutes approximately)5. The coconut mixture starts to separate from the pan.6. Continue stirring till the mixture starts to form a shape.7. Transfer the mixture into a greased pan.8. Spread it evenly and then allow it to set for 10-15 minutes.9. Cut into pieces when it is still warm.Coconut Burfi is ready!!
