Cooking Video for Kids: Healthy Homemade Salad Dressing Recipe

Homemade dressing time!!

We use this recipe in our course as one of those for kids to practice measuring... But today we are going to go ironic on that.

My goal is to show families how flexible cooking from scratch can be, and how much room there is for error. So we aren't really even using a recipe.

John will learn live how to crush whole garlic cloves, and as always, we will share all the substitutions you could use for this homemade Italian dressing (including how to make it Greek!).

You will need:

Olive oil
Wine vinegar (or lemon juice)
Italian seasoning (or other combinations of herbs)
Some sort of garlic, dry or fresh
Salt and pepper
Dijon mustard, or skip it if you don't have it
