Make one of your favorite nontraditional take-out orders at home.INGREDIENTS:8 ounces (1 package) cream cheese, softened1/4 cup scallions, thinly sliced1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepperSalt to taste30 wonton wrappers1 egg, beaten for sealing wontonsOil for fryingSweet chili or sweet and sour sauce for dippingSTEPS:1.) In a bowl, combine cream cheese, scallions, and seasonings.2.) Scoop about half a tablespoon on the center of each wonton, and line the edges with some egg wash. To close, fold and press one corner onto an opposite corner to form a triangle. Apply more egg wash onto a corner tip, and fold them over to seal.3.) Heat oil for deep frying to 350°F. Carefully fry a few wontons at a time, until crispy and golden brown.
