Ingredients

1 pound linguine pasta
1.5 pounds shrimp, shelled and deveined
3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, divided
6 tablespoons butter, divided
3 bell peppers, various colors, sliced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

1 Cook pasta according to package directions.

2 Toss the shrimp with 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in 3 tablespoons of butter. Cook the shrimp until no longer gray and they are pink in color. About 10-12 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.

3 In the same skillet as you cooked the shrimp, without cleaning, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter. Add in bell peppers, green onions, and mushrooms. Saut until veggies are tender. Sprinkle remaining 2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning over veggies and cook 1 minute.

4 Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer until sauce thickens.

5 Stir in cooked pasta and toss until coated and veggies are evenly distributed. Top with shrimp and squeeze of a fresh lemon and serve.
