Lalaggia, crispy fried breadsticks, is a traditional recipe from the regions of Messinia and Mani. They used to prepare them in large quantities before weddings, Christmas and Easter. The secret lies within the deep frying in plenty of extra virgin olive oil that comes from these regions. You can enjoy them with feta or any cheese you like. You can drizzle them with honey and enjoy them as a sweet.
