CROISSANT PUDDING WITH CHOCOLATE

Ingredients

3 croissants
1 cup shredded dark chocolate
3 eggs
1½ cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups warm milk
2-3 tbsps mixed fruit jam

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180° C.
2. Slice the croissants and cut into big pieces and put into a bowl.
3. Break eggs into another bowl, add sugar and whisk well. Add vanilla essence and continue to whisk.
4. Add milk, little by little, and whisk till well blended.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces. Sprinkle chocolate on top. Put a few dollops of jam all around and mix.
6. Cover the bowl with aluminium foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
7. Take it out of the oven and serve warm.
