Dates and nuts ladoo/roll is a very healthy, easy to make, no sugar, diabetic friendly, Indian sweet recipe.These are no-bake soft chewy rolls with crunchy nuts. With no added sugars, these make an ideal pre or post work out snack .Ingredients:Dates- 3 cupsCashews- 1/3 cupPista- 1/3 cupAlmond- 1/3 cupWalnuts- 1/3 cupGhee- 2 tbspPoppy seeds- 1 tbspCardamom- 4 piecesDirections:1. Coarsely chop the nuts(almonds, pista, cashews and walnuts) or use nut chopper to chop all the nuts into coarse consistency.2.Chop dates using food processor or mixer.3. Heat 1 tsp ghee. Add and sauté all the nuts in ghee for 4-5 minutes and then keep it aside.4. Saute poppy seeds in ghee for 2 minutes. Add the chopped dates and mix it well.5.Add chopped nuts and mix everything over medium flame.6. Add cardamom and mix until it blends nicely. Switch off the heat.7. Apply ghee in hand and make ladoo while it is hot.You can make it round or cylindrical shape.8.
