Degi Aloo Gosht
Ingredients for aloo gosht:
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion (Sliced) 2 cups
Black Cardamoms 2
Bay leaves 2
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Cinnamon sticks 2
Cloves 4
Black peppercorns 1 tsp
Green cardamoms 4-5
Mutton 1 kg
Ginger garlic (chopped) 2 tbsp
Tomatoes (sliced) 1 cup
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Green chilies (sliced) 4
Hot water 1 cup + 1 cup
Potato (large cubes) 2 cups
Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
Green chilies (sliced) for garnishing
Green coriander (Chopped) for garnishing

Directions for aloo gosht:
1- In a pot heat oil and add onion, cook until translucent.
2- Now add black cardamom, bay leaves, cumin seed, cinnamon sticks, cloves, black peppercorns, green cardamoms and cook until the onion gets light brown.
3- Now add mutton, and cook until mutton changes color.
4- Now add ginger garlic and cook for a minute.
5- Now add tomatoes mix it well. And add red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, paprika powder and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6- Now add yogurt and green chilies and cook for 4-5 mins.
7- Add 1 cup of hot water and cover and cook until meat is 90% done.
8- Now add potatoes and cook for a minute. Add hot water again and cover and cook until potatoes are done. Add garam masala powder and mix it well.
9- Your Degi Aloo Gosht is ready.
