DHIRDE

Ingredients

1 cup sorghum (jowar) flour
¼ cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
½ cup gram flour (besan)
1½ tsps garlic-green chillies paste
½ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil for drizzling
Coconut chutney to serve

Method

1. Take sorghum flour in a large bowl. Add whole wheat flour, gram flour, garlic-green chilli paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and 1 cup water and mix well. Add 1 cup water and mix till well combined. Add ½ cup water and mix till a smooth batter is formed.
2. Heat a non-stick tawa. Drizzle a little oil and pour sufficient batter and swirl the pan to make a thin disc. Drizzle oil and cook for 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes as well.
3. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
