DNER KEBAB: A HOMEMADE STREET FOOD

FULL RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE DNER KEBAB

Ingredients:
1 kg medium-fat ground beef
kg ground lamb
1 large-sized onions
5-6 garlic cloves
tbsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp salt

Directions
Peel and wash the onions and garlic cloves.
Mince the garlic cloves
Finely grate the onions
Add ground black pepper and salt
In a big bowl, combine the ground beef, the ground lamb, the onion, garlic, and the spices
Knead the ingredients for minimum 15 to 20 minutes until it has a homogenous and dough-like consistency
Then divide the mixture into desired portions
Place each portion into a freezer bag
Press with a roller to get a thin sheets of dner portions
Close the Ziploc and place in the freezer
Similarly, you can use plastic food wrap to form thin dner sheets
You can keep these in the freezer for a couple mounth

COOKING
Homemade dner is a tasty and easy meal for the household
When you decide to cook the dner, complete all preparations before take them out of the freezer
Wash and slice the garnishes; I used peppers and tomato
Heat a large nonstick pan
First grill the garnishes for 1 to 2 minutes
Then take out a portion of dner bag from the freezer
Open the bag while dner is still frozen
Divide into medium-sized pieces
Instantly place on the hot pan
They will broil in 2 minutes then turn them over to the other side
About 4 to 5 minutes of cooking will be enough for experiencing this delicacy at home

SERVING
As a main menu, dner loves company; serve the dner with pilav, tomato, pepper garnish and pickle or use your desired side dish
Homemade dner is also a healthy snack that kids are going to love!
