Easiest Homemade Char Siu Recipe (Chinese BBQ Pork) -

Ingredients Traditionally roasted in a Chinese oven, we've come up with the easiest way to get charred and glistening BBQ Pork at home. Braised in a wok then popped into the oven to achieve the the infamous char in Char Siew.

This recipe uses pork collar but you can use your favourite parts. We heard that pork belly burnt ends are the best.

1kg pork collar
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tsp dark soya sauce
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tsp sesame oil
tsp white pepper
2 tbsp sugar
150ml water
