Foraging UK - Common Hogweed (Heracleum Sphondylium) Edible

Today we're taking a look at Common Hogweed - a plant that has many different edible parts and different flavours throughout the season. Starting with fresh spring growth of the leaves and then moving on to the flowers and the cardimom flavoured seed pods.

We'll be diving into the identification of Common Hogweed to make sure we're correctly identifying them, we'll also take a look at the none edible lookalike which is called Giant Hogweed and making a note on the key differences between the two.

During the session, we'll have a think about plenty of different ways we can eat and enjoy Common Hogweed from sweet to savoury dishes.
