This hot and spicy chutney is prepared with green chillies, coconut and little tamarind.It's a wonderful combination with all South Indian tiffin recipes.Ingredients:Green chillies- 25-30Shredded coconut- 1/2 cupSalt- As neededHing- A pinchTamarind- A small pieceSesame oil- 2 tspMustard seeds- 1/2 tspUraddal- 1/2 tspDirections:1. Grind green chillies, coconut, salt and hing into a fine paste with very little water.2.Heat 2 tsp sesame oil in a pan. Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp uradddal. When uraddal turns golden brown, add the ground chilli paste.3.Saute everything for 2-3 minutes, and then switch off the heat.It goes very well with idly, dosa and yogurt rice as well.
