This is an easy DIY treat although I would recommend an adult handle the hot chocolate part.Ingredients:5 or more fairly straight bananas11 oz. white chocolate chips1 to 2 tsp. shortening like Criscomini chocolate chips for the eyesregular size chocolate chips for the mouthtangerines or tangelos 1 piece of celeryDirections: Heat the white chocolate and the shortening in a double boiler over low heat. Stir until the chocolate is just melted and smooth. Remove the chocolate from the heat.Peel and slice the bananas in half or thirds. Vary their heights. There is more than one way to dip the bananas in the chocolate. The first way is to dip the bottoms into the chocolate and stand them up on waxed or parchment paper. Then spoon over the melted chocolate and spread it all over the banana with a spoon or spatula. Then add two mini chocolate chips for the eyes and one large chocolate chip for the mouth.Place in the refrigerator or freezer until firm. The second way to dip the bananas is to roll the banana using your fingers, into the pot of chocolate. Cover the head area and roll the body to coat as much as you can. Then stand up the ghost on wax paper and finish coating the bottom of the ghost with a spoon or spatula to coat. These treats should be made and eaten on the same day for best results. To serve: Place the ghosts on a platter and place peeled tangerines around the platter. Cut a small stem to place on the top of each tangerine so that it looks like a pumpkin. This makes for a cute and fairly healthy dessert.Enjoy! Thanks for watching and sharing!Rockin RobinP.S.
