A perfect Halwai Style Lauki Ka halwa recipe to start the new year. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion #Desserts #DesiFoodWritten Recipe: https://bit.ly/3EQwtQTLauki ka HalwaServes 15-18Recipe in EnglishIngredients:-Lauki (Bottle gourd) 2 & kg-Doodh (Milk) 1 liter-Green food color 1 tsp or as required (optional)-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) tsp-Sugar 1 & Cup or to taste-Desi ghee 1 & Cup or as required-Badam (Almonds) blanched & sliced 3 tbs-Pista (Pistachios) sliced 3 tbs-Kishmish (Raisins) 3 tbs-Desi Ghee 1 tsp-Khoya 500g-Chandi warq (Edible silver leaf) -Tutti Frutti -Pista (Pistachios) sliced-Badam (Almonds) slicedDirections:-Peel bottle gourd & remove its seeds, grate them in longer strands in a bowl and set aside (approx. 2 & kg).-In a wok add grated bottle gourd & cook on low to medium flame until bottle gourds release water & then completely dried (approx. 25-30 minutes).-Add milk, mix well & bring it to boil, then cook on medium flame for 12-15 minutes.-Add green food color, mix well & cook until milk is reduced.-Add cardamom powder, sugar, mix well & cook until sugar is melted.
