Spinach and peas patties, simply delicious as shown by Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi..Hara bhara kabab preparation time : 10 mins cooking time : 10 minsserving : 4 paxIngredients quantity Capsicum 1 nos Frozen green peas 1 ¼ cupSpinach leaves 500 gm Mint leaves 8-10 petals Coriander leaves 2 tbsp Oil 1 tbsp + for deep frying Cumin seed ½ tspGinger chopped 1 tbspGreen chillies 3 nos Salt to taste Turmeric ¼ tspPotato 1 nos Bread crumbs 2 tbsp + ¼ cup Cornstarch 1 tbsp Chaat masala for sprinklingMethod : 1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a nonstick wok , add cumin seeds and sauté for a while .2. Deseed capsicum and roughly chop .3. Add ginger and green chillies in a pan and sauté for a minute . add capsicum and sauté for 2 mins .4. Add greenpeas , spinach , chopped mint , chopped coriander , salt and turmeric powder , mix well and cook till the mixture is dry .5. Transfer cooked mixture in a grinder jar and grind a smooth paste ,transfer into a bowl .6. Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai .7. Add potato , 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs and cornstarch to the ground paste , mix well .8. Spread ¼ cup breadcrumbs on a plate .9. Divide the cooked mixture into equal portion and shape them into kababs . Roll the kebabs in the breadcrumbs and coat well .10. Deep fry kabab till golden and crisp .11. Drain on absorbent paper .12. Transfer it to serving plate , serve hot .
