Delicious paranthas stuffed with green chickpeas. HARA CHANE KE PARANTHEIngredients¾ cup green chickpeas (hara chana), boiled1 cup whole wheat flour½ tsp caraway seedsSalt to taste1 tbsp ghee + applying1 small onion, chopped1-2 green chillies, chopped½ inch ginger, grated1 tsp roasted cumin powder½ tsp chaat masala powder1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)½ tsp turmeric powder1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leavesPickle to serveMethod1. In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, caraway seeds, salt, ghee, and sufficient water, and knead to semi-soft dough.2. In a blender jar, add green chickpeas and blend to coarse paste. Transfer to a bowl.3. Add onion, green chillies, ginger, cumin powder, chaat masala , amchur powder, turmeric powder, salt, chopped coriander and mix well. Set aside.4. Divide the dough into equal portions, and shape them into balls. Take a portion of the dough ball, make a cavity in the middle and stuff it with a portion of the prepared stuffing. 5. Seal the edges, and slight flatten them. Apply a little ghee on top and roll into a parantha of 10 centimetre diameter. 6. Heat a non-stick tawa, place the prepared parantha on it and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip and apply ghee on both sides. Cook for 1 minute and take it off the pan.7.
