Hash Browns (Japanese Hashed Potatoes in a Frying Pan Recipe)

Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 20 min
Number of servings: 5 pieces

Ingredients:
300g (10.5oz.) potatoes
2 tbsp. Katakuriko (potato starch) or corn starch
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper
3 tbsp. cooking oil
ketchup if you like

Directions:
1. Finely chop the potatoes and place them in a microwavable bowl. Cover and microwave on medium for 7 minutes.
2. Mix in Katakuriko (potato starch) or corn starch, salt and pepper. Divide it into 5~6 pieces and shape them into oval patties, using plastic wrap is easy.
3. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and cook both sides until golden brown. Serve with ketchup if you like.
