Made some Barley Water this morning using a mixture of Chinese and pearl barley together with candied tangerine and dried fig to ease cough and dry throat.Ingredients1/2 cup Chinese barley 2 tbsp pearl barley 1 tbsp bitter and sweet almond 1 candied tangerine 1 dried fig2 knots of pandan leaves1.5L of water.Method 1. Rinse mixture of barley and soak for 10 minutes and drained well2. Bring 1.5L of water to boil, add in barley and the rest of the ingredients3. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes4.
