I learned how to make this bolognese sauce from a chef in Italy. It's so delicious you've gotta try it.

This Bologneses sauce is from a cooking class I took in Florence Italy this summer. It was a blast and the food we made was amazing!

So I had to share with you! This is a rich, meaty sauce with delicious flavor. Make sure to use the canned tomatoes that I talk about in the video. The chef was adamant about this. So use canned tomatoes from Italy and are San Marzano tomatoes. They are simply the best.

Don't try and use fresh tomatoes no matter how tempting that may be this time of year. They simply have to much water in them and you will be disappointed.

Tips:
Use good quality lean ground beef and pork.
Use a nice quality Chianti red wine.
Use canned Italian tomatoes, San Marzano Plum tomatoes.

Enjoy this recipe by serving over your favorite pasta and top with parmesan cheese.

You can make this gluten free by using gluten-free noodles. Trader Joe's carries rice noodles that would work great with this dish.
