How to Make Brownies: The Best Brownies Recipe with Cocoa Powder

How to make the best homemade brownies recipe from scratch using cocoa powder.

Ingredients:
10 tbsp of butter,
200g semi-sweet dark chocolate,
1 cup of granulated sugar,
cup of brown sugar,
3 eggs,
1 tsp of vanilla extract,
cup of all-purpose flour,
cup of pure cocoa powder,
tsp of kosher salt,
tsp of baking powder.

Instructions:
1. Start by preheating your oven to 350F, oil your metal square pan with cooking spray or oil, and then line it with parchment paper and set that aside
2. In a large heat-proof bowl, combine 10 tbsp of butter, and 200g semi-sweet dark chocolate and melt for 30 seconds, stirring in between each burst until the mixture is melted and smooth.
3. Once you have achieved a smooth consistency, add 1 cup of granulated sugar, and cup of brown sugar to the hot butter mixture and mix vigorously until well combined. Leave to cool down until just barely warm.
4. Add in 3 eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla extract and whisk for about a minute or until perfectly combined, eggs help to bind the brownies together, the fat in the yolks adds richness, while the protein in the whites provides the structure which keeps the brownies from falling apart. also, this stirring process will help create a shiny crust on top of the brownies.
