Making clarified butter is easy to make. I take you step by step through the whole process that really only takes a few minutes.

You'll need a cheese cloth or a coffee filter to strain out the milk solids and proteins, a sauce pan, and a mason jar to store it in.

Ingredients:
2 sticks of unsalted butter, organic

Directions:
Place 2 sticks of butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Do not stir it as it melts as we want the parts to separate.

The butter will start to bubble as it simmers. Once it stops most of the bubbling that means that the water has evaporated. Again, don't stir. You can swirl the pan a little to keep the milk solids from burning as they sink to the bottom of the pan.

After a few minutes and the bubbling stops, pour the hot butter carefully into a container lined with either a cheese cloth or a coffee filter to strain out the milk solids.

Once the butter cools you can place it in the refrigerator covered for several months.

You can sear steaks with clarified butter, roast vegetables in the oven in a 450 degree F oven, and use it in any high temperature cooking and get that nice butter flavor.

You can also use clarified butter for any occasion where you would use regular butter.
