This recipe was given to me by my husbands grandmother, a sweet little old Italian lady. She would make these cookies for us when we would go on road trips. The cookies never even made it to our destination as we gobbled them up as fast as we could. They are yummy.Ingredients:1 cup butter, softened1 cup brown sugar, packed1 cup sugar2 1/2 cups rolled oats2 cups flour1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. salt2 tsp. vanilla extract1 cup chocolate chips1 cup walnuts, chopped very finePreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream the butter and sugars together, add the eggs and vanilla. Sprinkle in the flour, baking soda, salt mixture, a little at a time and stir. Stir in walnuts then chips.Drop by spoonfuls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or longer. The longer you bake them the crispier they will get.Enjoy!Rockin Robin==================================Click below to SUBSCRIBE for more videos:http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=cookingmexicanrecipe=========================================================Music by Kevin MacLead http://incompetech.com/.
