How to make Key Lime Pie Bars/ Secret Ingredient

You might be shocked at how easy it is to make Key Lime Pie Bars. I was.

To make the crust
about 9-10 graham crackers
5 tablespoons butter

For the filling
3 egg yolks
can of sweetened condensed milk
zest of one lime
2/3 lime juice

crush, blend or smash graham crackers until crumb consistency.
press down into a square or rectangle casserole dish. Bake for about 10 minutes in a 350 degree F oven. set aside to cool

filling
mix egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, zest until smooth and well combined. Pour over graham crust. bake in oven 10 minutes at 350 degrees F. (Yup, again)

Now... you don't see it in this video, but at this point you want to refrigerate the key lime pie in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Overnight works great!

Cut into squares, rectangles, stars... get creative. Top with fresh whipped cream and enjoy!
