Mascarpone cheese11 oz. lemon curd cup sugarLemon zest from 2 organic lemons2 Tbsp. lemon juice1 cup organic heavy whipping cream tsp. Vanilla extract1 package Ladyfingers (Savoiardi)Directions:Combine the Limoncello sauce ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Stir to combine ingredients and when the sugar is completely dissolved remove from heat and cool.Let the mascarpone cheese sit out at room temperature for hour before making. Then combine with a hand mixer the mascarpone, lemon curd, sugar, vanilla extract, and the lemon juice in a large mixing bowl.Zest 1 lemons into the mixture and combine with the hand mixer. In another mixing bowl, add the whipping cream and mix on high until you get stiff peaks. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture taking your time so as to not deflate the mixture. Now you are ready to assemble the dish. Take your cooled limoncello mixture and dunk each ladyfinger in the liquid for no more than 3 seconds. Place the cookie in the bottom of a dish or individual custard dish.Line the bottom of your dish with cookies, dunking each cookie in the limoncello. Layer the mascarpone on top pushing the mixture down onto the cookies to fill in any gaps. You want this layer to be about inch over the top of the cookies. Repeat the layer one more time. Finish with more lemon zest over the top and slices of lemon.Store the tiramisu in the refrigerator. It should keep for 4 to 5 days. I hope you are enjoying my cooking show!
