Feel free to sub in any cheese you like. If you like a grilled cheese or even a hamburger, you will love the combination of this sandwich!Patty Melt RecipeIngredients:Sourdough sandwich bread or your favorite2 slices of bacon per sandwich1 lb. grass fed ground beefSriracha sauce2 slices of mild cheddar cheese cup yellow onion, diced1 yellow onion, cut into slices. You can save left overs if you have any, which I doubt.Avocado, slicedGarlic powderSaltButter, grass fedDirections:Fry the amount of bacon you will need over medium heat. Cook until brown and crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain.Pour out all but 1 or 2 tablespoons of the bacon grease and add the onion to the pan. Saute the onion at least 15 minutes or longer depending on how patient you are. The longer you cook them the sweeter and delicious the flavor. Once the onion are done to your liking, set them aside and keep warm.Take a serving of the ground beef and add a good sprinkle of the diced onion to it, spreading it around the patty. Drizzle a good couple of teaspoons of sriracha sauce or more onto the beef. Work the onion and sriracha sauce into the meat and then form a patty with your hands. Add salt and garlic powder to the patty. Once youve formed all the hamburgers you need, head on over to the stove.Preheat a fry or grill pan over medium high heat and add the patty. Cook it for about 4 or 5 minutes at which point your will flip it over and salt and garlic powder the second side. While the ground beef patty is cooking, heat a grill pan over low heat. Place butter over 1 slice of bread and place it butter side down on the grill pan.Once the burger is cooked, start building your sandwich. Place 2 slices of bacon on the buttered bread. Then add the hamburger on top, then the cheese, caramelized onion, and finish with the slices of avocado.Put the a slice of bread on top and press slightly. Place a lid or piece of foil over the sandwich to help the cheese to melt and warm up all of the ingredients. You can raise the temperature to medium low but keep a close eye on the sandwich.Flip it over when its golden brown. Add butter to the top slice of bread and use both hands and a spatula to guide it over. Cover the sandwich with the lid and check it in 2 to 3 minutes. Once browned on the second side and the cheese is melted, its ready to serve. Enjoy! Thanks for watching and sharing!Rockin RobinP.S.
