Olive oilSalt and pepper to taste1 tsp. Fresh organic lemon juice and zestDirections:Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.Make sure you dry the green beans completely before roasting them. Place the beans in a large bowl and add the onion, olive oil, salt, pepper, and the garlic powder and toss to combine.Pour the beans out onto a baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer. Bake for 16 to 25 minutes.Check the beans at 16 minutes and give them a stir.In the meantime, pour the almonds into a dry frying pan over medium low heat stirring frequently to toast them. This should take about 5 minutes or until they are a golden brown. Make sure to watch them close so they dont burn.Once the green beans are done, pour them into a large bowl and add the lemon juice and zest. Toss well. Then add about half to of the almonds.
