How to make Shrimp Tacos on the stove.

Shrimp Tacos + Avocado Crema

Im not saying this is better than Torchys Tacos- but Im also not denying it

Either way; this creamy and savory shrimp taco recipe is incredibly delicious and I look forward to eating throughout the week when its prepped. Sharing the recipe with you below!

Ingredients
1 lb @Sizzlefishfit Shrimp
16 Corn Street Tortillas
Shredded Lettuce
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 Cups White Rice
1 Lime
Parsley for Garnish

Shrimp Seasoning
2 tsp paprika
tbsp salt
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp oregano

For the avocado Crema
1 Cup Unflavored Coconut Yogurt
2 Avocados
1 Jalapeno
2 Tbsp Lime Juice
5 Garlic Cloves
*Add water or olive oil as needed to blend smoothly

Directions

Season the shrimp and cook over the stove on medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until they all turn pink. Remove and let cool. Cook the rice according to the box instructions. For the Avocado crema, add in all the ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth. *You can add water or olive oil as needed for a smooth texture. Next up, fill your meal prep containers with the rice, garnished with lime and parsley- and then begin building your tacos. Layer the tortilla with shredded lettuce, shrimp and top with the avocado crema. Enjoy throughout the week!

For storage, I would suggest keeping the tortillas separate so you can heat up the shrimp before adding it to your tortillas.
