I will take you step by step on how to make delicious tiramisu.

Here are the ingredients:

1 lb. Mascarpone cheese (softened at room temp. for 10 minutes)
1/4 cup bakers sugar (ultra fine)
1/4 cup Amaretto
1 pint heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp. bakers sugar
1 tsp. real vanilla extract
3 cups strong coffee or espresso, cooled
2 tbsp bakers sugar
1/4 cup Amaretto
1 pkg. Savoiardi Ladyfingers (the hard crunchy type) OR
1 pkg. Gluten free Schar Lady fingers, optional
1 bar Scharffen Berger semi sweet dark chocolate for grating.

Directions:

Whip heavy cream, vanilla and 2 Tbsp. bakers sugar in a mixing bowl and beat until light, fluffy and firm.

In another large bowl, add the mascarpone cheese, 1/4 cup bakers sugar and stir to combine. Then add the Amaretto liqueur and stir.

Fold in the whipping cream until well blended.

In a dish that is deep enough and large enough to hold the coffee for dipping, add the coffee, Amaretto, and 2 Tbsp. of bakers sugar and stir.

Take a ladyfinger and dunk it into the coffee mixture for about 3 to 4 seconds. Place the soaked cookie into the bottom of a dish or individual glasses for serving.

Once the bottom layer is covered with soaked cookies layer the mascarpone on top. Spread it around to fill in the nooks and crannies. Finish with grated chocolate on top.

Repeat the layers until your dish is full. End with grated chocolate on top. Enjoy!
