Ananya's World Kitchen - Episode#3-ANZAC Cookies

Anzac Cookies have long been associated with the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) established in World War I. It has been claimed the biscuits were sent by wives to soldiers abroad because the ingredients do not spoil easily and the biscuits kept well during naval transportation.

Methods and Ingredients

1. 1 tbsp golden syrup

2. 1 tbsp water

3. ½ cup butter

4. Heat up this 3 mixture

5. Mix dry ingredients

6. ½ cup oats

7. ½ cup brown sugar

8. ¼ cup desiccated coconut

9. A pinch of baking soda

10. Butter is melted in golden syrup

11. Pour the mixture in the ingredients

12. Add ½ cup maida

13. Place the mixture in the baking tray in pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes

14. Freshly baked Anzac Cookies ready
