18 years ago on this day, our wedding took place... but our marriage has a very interesting and filmy story.

He had seen my profile on shaadi.com, but neither of us were paid members so we couldn't contact each other. However, our marriage was destined to happen, so he emailed me on different email IDs based on my name and luckily, we got in touch.

I lived in Gorakhpur and he lived in Kolkata... We talked on the phone after exchanging emails and told our families within 2-3 days. Both families liked the proposal and a date was finalized for the meeting.

We met, but he was studying CA and was very interested in music. He wanted to pursue a career in music, but after meeting him, my mother didn't understand his work and we left without saying yes. We didn't talk for many days, but I couldn't forget him. Then after a few weeks, he messaged me asking "How are you". We both didn't know what to do.

Then my cousin and I convinced my mother about his work, and finally, she agreed. In February, our wedding date was finalized. I was very excited, but 18 days before the wedding, I fell off my Scooty and fractured my knee.

All the preparations for the wedding were done, but we had to postpone it because the doctor was not sure when and where I would recover. I went to Delhi for treatment and was bedridden for 2 months.

After 2 months, by the grace of God, my leg got a little better and the doctor confirmed that the new date can be finalized for the wedding, which was on Akshay Tritiya, May 11 2005.

But everything didn't get better so easily. 15 days before the wedding, my father-in-law had a mild heart attack and he became unstable. The doctor said that he needed bypass surgery... The talk of postponing the wedding started again, but the doctor said that we could wait until the wedding.

Finally, our wedding took place, and after the wedding, we went to Bangalore for my father-in-law's bypass surgery, and we stayed there for a month, which was our honeymoon.

Although we faced many difficulties, I can definitely say that all is well that ends well.

so how was the story? Let me know
