Mini idlis lined up with onion and capsicum cubes to make this interesting quick and easy cocktail starter.IDLI SHASHLIK - (Serves - 4)Ingredients8 readymade steamed idlis2 teaspoons butter1 teaspoon molaga podi powder1 medium onion, cut into cubes and layers separated 1 medium green capsicum, cut into cubesSalt to tasteGreen chutney as requiredMethod1. Trim 2 opposite sides of each idli and cut into 4 equal pieces. 2. Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a non-stick pan. Add idli pieces and sauté for 30 seconds. Add molaga podi powder, mix and cook for 1 minute.3. Heat remaining butter in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté for 1 minute. Add capsicum and mix.4. Add salt and sauté for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and cool.5. Skewer one capsicum cube, one onion cube and one idli piece alternatively onto satay sticks till all the ingredients are used. 6. Put some chutney in individual short glasses.
