FULL RECIPE FOR THE KALE SALADIngredients 350 g (1 bunch) kale 2 pomegranates lemon (juice only) 1/2 cup olive oil cup pomegranate sour sauce tbsp. salt cup walnuts cup dry blueberries Directions: CLEANING All greens including kale should be washed and cleaned carefully because they are ingested raw! Fill a large bowl with clean water Add 2 tbsp of salt and cup of white vinegar . Dissolve the salt in the water Soak the Kale leaves into the mixture and rest for 15-20 minutes Then take the kale leaves out off the salted water and rinse them thoroughly with running water, thoroughly First, roughly drain the kale leaves then remove all excess water using a salad spinner. So the leaves well absorb the dressing for better taste! Now, kale leaves are ready to eat safely; they free of pesticides and bacteria PREPARING THE KALE LEAVES First, discard the hard stems of kale leaves Then thinly chop the leaves and place them into a large bowl You can use the leftover stems for making beef or chicken stock Marinating provides a softer texture for the Kale leaves For the marinating, add 1/2 tbsp of salt and gently massage the kale leaves for 1-2 minutes Cover the bowl with a lid and set aside PREPARING THE POMEGRANATES Wash and dry 2 pomegranates To obtain the pomegranate seeds; Cut the top of the pomegranate off . Find the lines that indicate the sections within the pomegranate Deeply score the skin from top to bottom vertically Then, easily separate the inner sections And, gently remove the seeds and set aside To obtain the juice of 1 pomegranate; divide the pomegranate into two equal pieces horizontally and squeeze each half, then set aside THE DRESSING In a bowl, combine the juice of 1 pomegranate, the juice of a lemon, 1/2 cup of olive oil, and cup of pomegranate sour sauce Whisk the dressing and set aside MAKING THE KALE SALAD Combine the salted kale leaves and the half of pomegranate dressing together Mix them thoroughly, then, place in a serving bowl Sprinkle roughly crushed walnut, dried blueberries, and pomegranate seeds on the salad SERVING Pour the second half of dressing generously over the KALE SALAD!! If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add some honey into the dressing at this stage KALE SALAD is a nutritious, tasteful, and very healthy menu by itself!
