Kokum Saar By Asha Khatau | India Food Network

Kokum is a medicinal tropical fruit of the mangosteen family that counters acidity and indigestion, often used in dried form in tangy drinks and seafood curries along the Konkan and Malabar coasts. This is a recipe for a delicious kokum and coconut milk based drink.

Ingredients:
1-2 cups medium consistency coconut milk
1 tbsp clarified butter/ ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 clove crushed garlic sprinkled with salt
2 green chillies, slit and de-seeded
A few curry leaves
1 tbsp sugar
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp kokum juice
Coriander to garnish
