KOUIGN AMANN

Ingredients

500 grams croissant dough
Butter for greasing
½ cup castor sugar
A pinch salt
Refined flour for dusting

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180ºC. Grease a silicon muffin mould with some butter
2. Take castor sugar in a bowl. Add salt and mix well.
3. Dust some sugar-salt mixture onto a worktop, place the dough and roll out.
4. Dust some refined flour and roll it out to make a thin sheet. Trim off the edges and cut into equal squares.
5. Put the greased silicon muffin mould in a baking tray. Sprinkle some sugar-salt mixture into the mould. Fold and place each dough piece in the mould. Sprinkle remaining sugar-salt mixture on top.
6. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
7. Demould and serve.

Preparation Time: 8-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
