A group of my Dads from the show, cooked up and served brunch for the homeless mothers at the Hamilton Family Center for Mothers Day! This is an annual event and such an honor for us to be part of making these Moms feel special...

Here we've got a live shot. This is in Oakland. It's a group of dads that are cooking for homeless mothers on Mother's Day.

Yeah, this is a great event. Oh, and look a little bit of-

Yeah. They're getting serenaded too.

... violin music. This is with he Hamilton Family Center. They have a group of mothers who are currently homeless living at the center. And they get to celebrate Mother's Day by being pampered. This is a special group of dads from Dads That Cook and they give them this special brunch.

And you can see the violinists are there to provide music.

And when they're done with brunch, they get a little bit of a makeover too, huh?

A makeover. That's right. They get their hair done. They get makeup sessions. We were talking about it. You get this warm, great meal from these smiling guys who say, "You know what? You deserve to be pampered today."

Look at that food. What have they got?

I want to be pampered today. That food looks pretty good.

Like a little yam. Yeah, it looks yummy.

And then we talked to these folks after this event, because it becomes a tradition, and really just to get pampered. Everyone deserves that, so good for them.

Yeah. It's all about feeling special.

Jason Glover is the original Dad That Cooks and owns and operates Splash Digital Media. As a Dad and the primary cook for his family, he conceived DTC through his experiences and by talking with other Dads. When fellow Dads shared with Jason theyd love to learn from his own first-hand kitchen experiences, the idea for DTC was born. As the idea continued to keep him up at night he thought, why not leverage his film and video production and comedy background with his love of cooking for his family to become the host of DTC.
