Lahori Fish Fry
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Machli (Fish) fillets salted & washed 750 gms
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 Cup
-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 5
-Pani (Water) ½ Cup
-Lemon juice ¼ Cup
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) crushed 1 tbs
-Ajwain (Carom seeds) 1 tsp
-Garam masala powder ½ tsp
-Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 tbs
-Dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 & ½ tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs or to taste
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 & ½ tbs or to taste
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 1 Cup
-Pani (Water) if required
-Oil for frying

Directions:
-On fish pieces,add sifted all-purpose flour & set aside for 15 minutes.
-In blender,add garlic,water and blend well.
-In bowl,add lemon juice,garlic water,cumin seeds,carom seeds,garam masala powder,red chili crushed, coriander seeds,salt,red chili powder,turmeric powder and mix well.
-Add gram flour and mix well.
-Add water if required and mix well to form a thick batter.
-Add fish fillets and coat well,cover and marinate for 3 hours.
-In wok,heat oil and fry fish until golden brown.

Ajza:

-Dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 & ½ tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs or to taste
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 & ½ tbs or to taste
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 1 Cup
-Pani (Water) if required
-Oil for frying

Directions:
-Machli ka pieces per maida sift ker ka dal dein & 15 minutes kliya side per rakh dein.
-Blender mein lehsan aur pani dal ker ache tarhan blend ker lein.
-Bowl mein lemon juice,garlic water,zeera,ajwain,garam masala powder,lal mirch crushed,dhania, namak,lal mirch powder aur haldee dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Baisan shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Agar zaroorat ho tou pani dal dein aur ache tarhan mix ker ka thick batter tayyar ker lein.
-Machli ka fillets dal ker ache tarhan coat karein aur dhak ker 3 hours kliya marinate ker lein.
-Karhai mein oil garam karein aur fish ko golden brown fry ker lein.
