(Large)Green chillies finely chopped 3-4 no.Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbspGinger chopped 1 tbspCarom seeds (Ajwain) 1 tspRed chilli powder 1½ tspTurmeric powder ½ tspSalt to tasteBlack salt 1 tspTamarind chutney 2 tbspGram Flour 1½ cupRice flour ½ cupOil for deep fryMethod:1. Take grated white pumpkin (Lauki) in a bowl, add Chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger, carom seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, black salt and tamarind chutney, mix well.2. Add gram flour, rice flour and mix well.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of lauki mixture into the hot oil and deep-fry on medium heat until half done.4. Drain on absorbent paper. And press the pakodas with the help of tissue paper.5. Reheat the oil and fry the pakodas again till golden and crisp. 6. Drain on absorbent paper.7.
