LAUKI KE PAKODE Ingredients 1 medium bottle gourd1 cup gram flour (besan)2 tbsps rice flour tsp turmeric powder tsp red chilli powderSalt to taste tsp carom seeds (ajwain)1 tsp ginger-garlic green chilli paste1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leavesOil for deep fryingGreen chutney to serveMethod1. Peel the bottle gourd and cut into thin roundels,2. In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste and ajwain, ginger-garlic green chilli paste, chopped coriander leaves, gradually add cup water and mix till well combined. Continue to mix for 3-4 minutes. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, dip the roundels in the batter and gently slide into the hot oil. Deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent pepper. 4.
