Drizzle the melted butter over the bread and toss. Then drizzle the olive oil and toss again.Then season with your favorite spices. I believe that salt and garlic powder are a must. Then follow with a nice sprinkle of both basil and parsley. I like to season and then toss and then repeat with another seasoning and toss to get every crouton seasoned well. Spread out the cubes onto a parchment paper baking sheet so that each cube is touching the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes turning them halfway through this cooking time. I cooked mine for 9 minutes and then turned them over and cooked an additional 6 minutes and mine were perfect.Tip:These store best uncovered in a bowl for 2 to 3 days. They stayed just as crispy as when they first came out of the oven. If you cover them with a lid or plastic wrap they get soft. No bueno. Enjoy these on salads, soups or just plain old snacking.
