Ingredients for the Kofta:

Boiled Potatoes - 4 medium

Paneer - 50 GM's

Chopped green chillies - 4

Grated ginger - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Any dry fruits

Oil to fry

Method to make the Kofta :

In a large bowl, mash the potatoes.Then add the paneer, chopped chillies, grated ginger and salt

Divide into roundels

Flatten each and stuff with dry fruits and shape as desired

Deep fry the stuffed Koftas over medium flame

Keep aside the golden Koftas

Ingredients for the gravy:

Onions - 4

Tomatoes - 8

Green chillies - 4

Dry red chillies - 8

Ginger - 2 inches

Cashewnuts - 8/10

Butter - 25 gms

Jeera - 1 tsp

Bay leaves - 2

Cloves - 3

Cardamom - 2

Cinnamon - 1 stick

Method to make the gravy :

Chop onions and tomatoes roughly

In a heavy based pan, heat butter

Splutter jeera

Saute cloves, cinnamon and cardamom

Then, saute onions till translucent

Then add the red chillies, green chillies, ginger, the chopped tomatoes and the cashewnuts

Toss and saute with dalt

Now, close and cook for few minutes till vegetable s are cooked soft

Bring to room temperature and grind to a pulp

In a pan, heat some butter

Splutter jeera

Saute bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom

Add the ground gravy and adjust with water and salt

After few minutes of boil, your gravy is ready

In a plate, place the fried Koftas and pour the gravy over them. Drizzle cream over and serve with Butter Naan!
