Heat oil in a non-stick pan, meanwhile, transfer makti, onion, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and mix well.2. Add mustard seeds in the hot oil and let them splutter, add cumin seeds and asafoetida and mix well. Add the prepared matki mixture and mix well. Cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes, sautéing occasionally. 3. Add 2 cups water and mix well. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes.4. Add salt, sugar and chopped coriander and mix well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.5. Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot with rotis.
