INGREDIENTS
1. Black Gram - 1 Cup
2. Chopped Onions
3. Chopped Curry Leaves
4. Chopped Green Chillies
5. Chopped Ginger
6. Salt
7. A Pinch of Soda
8. Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon

Wash and soak 1 cup black gram for at least 2 hours. Drain off all the water and grind it in a grinder. Move it into a bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, chopped onions, chopped curry leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped ginger, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix. Onions and green chillies could be grinded along with black gram or they could also be skipped. Add a pinch of soda and mix. Wet your palms, take a small amount of batter and roll it into a ball. Press it lightly and make a hole in the middle. Heat oil for deep fry in a pan. Take the batter. Wet your palms, take a small amount of batter and roll it into a ball. Press it lightly and make a hole in the middle. Add them to oil one by one. Fry on medium flame till they turn light brown and flip. Fry till they turn golden brown. Serve hot.
