NADDA KABAB

A very unique Indian street food.
This is the most unique and creative street side chaat. It's called Aloo Fingers or Nadda Kabab or Khasta Kabab.
It's made from fryums and potato mixture. To make this chaat - crispy and crunchy fryums are filled with an tasty mixture made of potato, tomato, onions, sweet-spicy chutney, masala powders and chaat masala.
Potato finger/Nadda Kabab is a very simple yet tasty snacks.

Ingredients :
* 4 Potatoes
* 2 medium size onion
* 1 medium size tomato
* few coriander leaves
* 1/2 tsp cumin powder
* 1/2 tsp coriander powder
* 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp black salt
* 1 tsp chaat masala
* 4-5 tsp green chutney
* Yogurt/Curd
* Tamarind Chutney
* Fryums / pipe shaped papads
[ Green Chutney for Chats Recipe ]-
To a mixer jar add 1/2 cup coriander leaves and 1/4 cup mint leaves, add 2 garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger and 2 green chilli and also add 1 tbsp gram dal, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp chaat masala, 1/4 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt and a pinch of hing - Blend smooth adding 1/4 cup water.
Then transfer to a bowl and mix 1/2 tbsp lemon juice.
Green chutney for chaat is ready.
[ Tamarind Chutney for Chats recipe ]-
Soak 25 gms Tamarind in a Bowl with 1 cup hot Water for 15 to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes add the Tamarind into the blender to make the paste. Next, strain the Tamarind pulp and add the Water which was used for soaking the Tamarind. Then add the Tamarind Pulp in a Pan and stir for 2 to 3 minutes then add 50 gms Jaggery, 1/2 tsp Coriander & 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder, 1/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder, a pinch of Salt. Next, boil the Chutney for 3 to 4 minutes. Next turn off the Flame and your Sweet & Sour Tamarind Chutney is ready.
