NOODLES LO MEIN STYLE

Ingredients

300 grams noodles, boiled
200 grams boneless chicken breast
4 tbsps corn flour
4 tsps dark soy sauce
2 tbsps oyster sauce
2 cups chicken stock
4 tsps sesame oil
2 tbsps oil
2 tbsps chopped garlic
1 inch ginger, cut into strips
1 large carrot, peeled and cut into thick strips
6-8 pak choy pieces, roughly chopped
Salt to taste
Chopped spring onion greens for garnish

Method

1. Cut chicken breast into small pieces.
2. Take corn flour in a bowl. Add dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and chicken stock and mix well.
3. Add sesame oil and mix.
4. Heat oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic, ginger and sauté till garlic turns golden brown.
5. Add chicken and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes.
6. Add carrot, pak choy and mix. Add noodles, salt and toss well.
7. Add the prepared sauce mixture and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
8. Transfer into a serving plate, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
