Nutritious Bar | Not So Junky - by Chef Siddharth | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Perfect recipe of healthy and nutritious bar made with oats and quinoa. Great as a post workout bite.

NUTRITIOUS BAR

Ingredients

½ cup quinoa
1½ cups oats
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons chia seeds
3 tablespoons flax seeds
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
2 tablespoonshoney

Method

1. Dry roast quinoa, oats and pumpkin seeds individually in a non-stick pan till golden brown. Transfer in a bowl.
2. Dry roast chia seeds and flax seeds individual in the same non-stick pan for 30 seconds. Transfer in the same bowl and mix well.
3. Heat dark chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and mix till melted.
4. Add melted chocolate and honey to roasted mixture and mix lightly.
5. Line an aluminium barfi tray with a cling film and spread the oats mixture in it. Set aside for 2-3 hours.
6. Demould, cut into bars and serve.

Preparation Time: 2-3 hours
Cooking Time: 10-15minutes
