It’s a good remedy for cold and cough.Usually rice and rasam are separately made . But whenever there is short of time, You can make it quick using one pot.Ingredients:Oil- 2 teaspoonMustard seeds- 1 teaspoonHing- A pinchTomatoes- 2 or 3Turmeric powder- 1 teaspoonSalt- As neededRasam/ Sambar powder- 1..25 teaspoonsCumin seeds- 1 teaspoonTamarind water(diluted)- 1.5 cupsRice- 3/4 cupToordal- 2 tablespoonsWater- 4 cupsCurry leaves and coriander leaves- for garnishingDirections:1. Heat 2 teaspoon oil in cooker pot over medium flame.2. Add mustard seeds and hing. Let them splutter.3. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, rasam powder, cumin seeds, tamarind water, rice,toordal, water and curry leaves .4. Close the lid and Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.5. After the pressure is down, open the lid. Mash it with a ladle.6. Garnish with coriander leaves.Rasam satham is ready!!
