Bread slices sandwiched with mushroom mixture, ham and cheese slices, pan seared till crisp.PAN FRIED HAM CHEESE AND MUSHROOM SANDWICHESIngredients4 ham slices4 cheese slices 8-10 button mushrooms, sliced8 white bread slices1 tablespoon butter + as required1 tablespoon oil1 teaspoon fresh thyme1 tablespoon chopped garlicSalt to tasteCream cheese as requiredMustard paste as requiredMethod1. Heat a non-stick pan.2. Spread some butter on both sides of bread slices, place on the hot pan and toast equally from both sides till golden and crisp. Transfer onto the worktop.3. Heat 1 tablespoon butter and oil in the same non-stick pan. Add mushrooms, thyme, garlic and salt, mix and cook till mushrooms are soft and done. Transfer it into a bowl.4. Spread some cream cheese and mustard paste on 4 of the toasted bread slices. Put some mushroom mixture, ham slices and cheese slices. Cover with remaining toasted bread slices.5. Heat the same non-stick pan. Place the prepared sandwiches on it and pan-sear on low heat for 2-3 minutes.6.
