Paneer Bhurji/Dry Paneer Bhurji | Gayathiri's Cookbook

Panner bhurji is a North Indian dish made with indian cottage cheese and spices.It can be had as a main meal for breakfast or served as a side dish with parathas,or pooriis or bread varieties.

Ingredients:
Oil- 2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera- 1 teaspoon
Onion-1/4 cup
Tomatoes-1/3 cup
Green chillies- 2
Curry leaves- For seasoning
Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Salt- 1/4 teaspoon
Jeera powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Grated paneer- 1 cup
Coriander leaves- for garnishing

Directions:
1. Heat 2 tsp oil. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
2. Add jeera , green chillies , curry leaves and onion. Saute until onion is translucent.
3. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt . saute tomatoes until soft.
4. Add jeera powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Add little water and cook masala for a minute.
5. Mix in grated paneer.Saute for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves.

Paneer Bhurji is ready!!
